An infusion of the flowers is the best way of preventing influenza or a cold. At the first sign of infection, add one teaspoon of dried flowers to a cup of boiling water. Leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Drink regularly. The infusion promotes sweating and thus helps the body to sweat the illness out.
